Timothy Judd

A native of Upstate New York, Timothy Judd has been a member of the Richmond Symphony violin section since 2001. He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music where he earned the degrees Bachelor of Music and Master of Music, studying with world renowned Ukranian-American violinist Oleh Krysa.

After building a large and successful private teaching studio, Timothy decided to launch a music appreciation blog which quickly developed a strong core readership. The trio of professional activity, performing, teaching, and outreach, gave way to the need for a strong online presence to balance all three activities. His site features dedicated student content including a dynamic event image portfolio along with a magazine style layout for his music appreciation content, The Listeners’ Club.
